Dear sir,

No matter 1st md5 table or ntlm table has a long time, at least a week, missing certain blocks. Is it possible re-assign other Machines to make the table finished?

By the way, is it possible make the un-cracked password in personal's hashing list be re-calculated when the table finished?

Regards,

When a part is allocated to a client, the client has 5 days to complete it before it 'expires' and is allocated to another client. If we're unlucky, this can drag out the table completion time significantly when there are only a few parts left.

Uncracked hashes will automatically be tried against new tables as they are completed.

We have also taken a couple of additional measures to try to reduce this effect.

1. Clients with higher ranks are delegated expired parts if any are available to ensure that they are completed ASAP.
2. We have added extra parts to each table. This ensures a better succcess rate for that table than projected, and decreases the delay in accheiving the target success rate (unique chains).

Is it possible to make the expire time to 2 or 3 days? Five days seems like a long time to complete a part that should only take a few hours.

We will see how many parts are successfully returned after 4 or 5 days - if it is sufficient then we will leave it.
If it is insignificant then we can shorten the expiry period.

The reason its not done yet, is because of the fact i had to increase the size of the table, so there was even more data to generate, due to too few perfect chains.
Generating perfect tables is still something new, and we need to find the best projected size of the tables to reach the goal %.
