Hi Guys !

Please help learning how to use rcracki !

I've downloaded yours .rti rainbow tables on my external hdd (H:)

I've downloaded rcracki for windows ... and tryied to crack some hash

like this :

rcracki_mt -l E:\myhashlist.txt -t 2 H:\Rainbow Tables\mixalpha\*.rti

And it says that no rainbow table found !

What could be the issue ??

PS : In my rcracki_mt.ini it's written like this #DefaultRainbowTablePath.MD5=H:\Rainbow Tables\mixalpha\ !

Any help is appreciated !

Thanks in advance !

try this

rcracki_mt -l "E:\myhashlist.txt" -t 2 "H:\Rainbow Tables\mixalpha\*"

or
rcracki_mt -l "E:\myhashlist.txt" -t 2 "H:\Rainbow Tables\mixalpha\*.rti"

thanks blazerx !

but that doesn't work !

By the way now I'm trying in linux but still receiving the same error !

my rainbow tables are in : /media/My Book/Rainbow Tables/md5_loweralpha-numeric-space/
and my hash is : /media/Other/h.txt

in my ini I wrote :
Quote:
#DefaultRainbowTablePath.MD5=/media/My Book/Rainbow Tables/md5_loweralpha-numeric-space/md5_loweralpha-numeric-space#1-8_*

then enter to my rcracki_mt directory, open a terminal and run this command

Quote:
$ ./rcracki_mt -l /media/Other/h.txt /media/My Book/Rainbow Tables/md5_loweralpha-numeric-space/md5_loweralpha-numeric-space#1-8_*

and it says
Quote:
Using 1 threads for pre-calculation and false alarm checking...
no rainbow table found

Please note that MY BOOK it's an external USB hdd !

Hmmmmm ... it's driving me crazy !!!!!

:o :o :o

I'm pretty sure in Linux you can't use wild cards for rcracki_mt so you need to do this (the trialing slash on the folder name might be optional):
./rcracki_mt -l /media/Other/h.txt /media/My\ Book/Rainbow\ Tables/md5_loweralpha-numeric-space/
