Hi
What is the difference between these tables (I mean 0, 8, 16, 24, 32) ?

md5_mixalpha-numeric-all-space#1-8_0
md5_mixalpha-numeric-all-space#1-8_8
md5_mixalpha-numeric-all-space#1-8_16
md5_mixalpha-numeric-all-space#1-8_24
md5_mixalpha-numeric-all-space#1-8_32

Thanks,

These have success rates of 68.8%:
md5_mixalpha-numeric-all-space#1-8_0_200000
md5_mixalpha-numeric-all-space#1-8_8_300000
md5_mixalpha-numeric-all-space#1-8_16_400000

These have success rates of 81.8%:
md5_mixalpha-numeric-all-space#1-8_24_422000
md5_mixalpha-numeric-all-space#1-8_32_422000

All together they have a success rate of 99.8995%

Table 0 is four times faster than table 16 but is twice the size. All of these tables need to use GPUs but if you have a fast CPU you might be able to get away with using table 0 since it is the fastest (it will take like 20 minutes per hash).

Also if you are wondering about the table numbers 0, 8, 16, 24, and 32. They are like that because of a design decision by RCrack in 2003 which limited the chain length to 65,537 but an easy workaround is to increment the table numbers by more than one.

I have a I7 @ 2,8 Ghz (but no GPU) , It's reasonably possible to use all others tables (table 0 take 20 minutes) -> 8, 16, 24, 32 ?

It will take a long time. Benchmark table 0 then multiply that by 2.25, 4, and 4.45 for table 8, 16, and 24/32.
