Features:

As the name suggests "Unified List Manager" attempts to incorporate mini tools in a single user friendly interface to help you manage lists, not only are tools provided to sort lists but included are analysis functions to give you detailed information about the contents of your lists. Other functions include hashing of lists, down/up sizing and trimming of lists and yes it's free.

List Merger (Vertical):
Can merge multiple lists into a single file
List Merger (Horizontal):
Can combined two lists itemwise
List Splitter:
Can split large lists into smaller lists by user defined items per list
Cross Checker:
Checks one list against another and removes items from that list if found in other
Delimeter Conversion:
Converts between LF/CrLF/User Defined delimeter

Analysis Tools:
Analyses the charsets of the list (Numbers, Symbols, Upper, Lower, Special, etc)
Char Per position analysis (The occurance of a character in particular position)
Pattern Analysis (Items starting/ending in numbers, number of consecutive numbers/symbols/toggles)
Chaining Analysis (The occurance of two letters in an item, eg: AB, AP, bM, Oo, 9n, p0, etc)
Frequency Analysis (The frequence of each item in a list)
English (nouns, adjectives, verbs, isoforms, palindromes in a list)

Case Tools:
Converts a list to upper/lower
Converts first char to upper
Converts first char to upper rest to lower
Case toggling
All possible case mutations

Charset Tools:
Contains functions to parse out elements which don't fit a requirement such as:
Removing/keeping items with symbols, numbers, special
User defined charset

Hashing of lists to:
MD2, MD4, MD5, SHA-1, SHA-2 (256), RIPEMD-160, RIPEMD-320, NT

Line Tools:
Removal/Retain items which contain "user defined string"
Prepend to each item
Append to each item

Misc Tools:
Saves items in a list if meets length requirement
Reverse items in a list
Generate all character mutations, e.g: ABCD -> ACBD, DBCA, BCAD, etc
Replace multiple chars per item
Find and replace

Slice Tools (Trims items in a list)
Trims items starting/ending with numbers/symbols
Trims items not ending with alpha
Trim before/after position
Trim before/after "user defined string"

Sort tools:
Sorts items into 16 lists by length
Sorts alphabetically (large/small list support)
Sorts items by length

updated to 0.42

Whats new?
Added RipeMD-160, RIPEMD-320, SHA-256 hash algorithms
Sped up: MD4, MD5, SHA1
Added function to generate all possible cases of an element e.g password -> Password, PAssword PaSSwOrd etc etc (thanks skynet for the PHP port)
Bug fixes

Like always open to suggestions, if you can think of something it doesn't already do speak up.

To the detailed analysis, you should add most frequent top x words in the wordlist.
% of all passwords that those words
% are only numeric
% are only (loweralpha/mixalpha/etc)

% are 1 in length, 2 in length ... 20 in length

thx for the suggesstions will be getting round to them asap.
I've never thought about the frequency of the passwords as I've only ever used it for sorted/duped removed lists good idea :)
The percentage thing can be easily added i actually originally had them but i figured people might find it confusing so removed it awhile back.

I've been thinking of adding "Chaining Occurance" eg the frequency of say 2 chanining letters such as "aa" "an" "pp" "u1" etc etc because i'm sure it would be really skewed so useful.

Thx for the feedback expect to see some changes, glad that the program is being used.

I'm using it alot !

i think you're right about the percentage. Don't add that, just add how many times smth appeared.

Updated to Ver 0.47

Whats New

Optimized and Improved the Detailed analysis
Hopefully doesn't crash anymore on large lists I have personally tested it on a 32 million list file and it seemed to work fine no errors.

Added Frequency Analysis (Suggested by _haxxor_)
Two functions added one for Small <200 MB and one for Large Lists
The large list one should be able to be used for both small and large lists as the list will be indexed
Pretty much it will scroll through the list and output the number of occurances
(Will possibly add option to output in occurance if needed)

Added Cross Checker
Two functions added Partial and Exact
Load in Two lists A and B. A is the list which elements will be removed from while list B contains elements which will be removed from A.
Exact match: If the item from list A matches exactly with that from list B it will be removed from List A.
Partial match: If an item in List A matches a portion of any item in List B it will be removed from List A.

Note: There will hopefully be a speedup in the partial match function as benchmarks of revised code show drastic improvement, at the moment it is only recommended to be used in conjuction with a small list B, otherwise the process exponentially becomes in-efficient.

Fixed: Bug in the Large list sorter which caused an error when small lists were used

Added Rules (Suggested By Phoenix)
Currently Slice Ending Rule, will slice elements which end in a specified combination specified by the user as defined in the rules.txt
This Slice End Rule currently utilizes four internal functions 2 Indexers, Slice, Sorter
More rules to come as indicated

Updated to 0.52

Whats New?

2 New Analysis functions (chaining, & english)
Chaining: Will tell you the paired occurance of two characters
English: Attempts to check for nouns, verbs, adjectives, isoforms, palindromes etc

Analysis can now be output in CSV format
Now supports files larger than 2 GB (hopefully both output and input =))

Bug Fixes

Tested the 0.52 .EXE file at virustotal.com, Symantec considers it to be suspicious, with a 1/42 rating. I guess Symantec is just a bit to paranoid here, not trusting a file (whitelisting it) before many of us has answered our local Norton Antivirus installation that the file seems to be legit, without doing anything suspicious.

;)

Regards,

i can assure you that the file is legit, not sure whether the last version was flagged or not, but the only difference is, this one was compiled with some optimizations turned OFF and of course some added code for new functions. Other than that the worst thing it does is call the "kill" command which removes files created in the temp dir (though this has been there since ages ago).

Suspicious.Insight according to the symantec site.

updated to 0.52a, compiled with Optimizations on, seems to reduce the exe by about 50Kb however virus total still shows "Suspicious.Insight". This little update fixes the chanining analysis function which I stuffed up just before compiling 0.52.

Note: May crash while performing one/some of the analysis functions I think (not too sure), maybe none.
Since optimizing removed some of the bounds checking.

some slight improvements brings us to 0.61

Changes
Error handling improvements
Fixed length sorter currently (1-16 limitation)
Fixed large sorter
Fixed Crosschecker
Added Cross additional cross check function
Added new experimental small sorter
Fixed overflow error (no longer appears on processors > 3Ghz)
Fixed frequency analysis
Displays number | item rather than item | number
Fixed delimiter tool
Added some extra handling
Reduced memory usage when usage large sort

Edit: Updated to 0.61a (did not change the version in the program, just quickly did a rebuild with 1 small moification)

Did a test sort of a 2.04GB file i merged from a random bunch of word lists

Large sort Complete
======================================
Elements input: 193476555
Elements output: 89077966
Elements dropped: 104398589
Timetaken: 20 mins
======================================

Before: 2.04 GB (2,195,144,704 bytes)
After: 0.99 GB (1,068,494,848 bytes)

I guess i'm not suprised at the slow speed of 20mins, but i'm happy being able to sort and remove duplicates from a 193 million item list =)
Feel free to suggest something ;)

upload it to softpedia
and or to sourceforge, you'll get a wider audience.
